Election Dates

General Election

• November 3, 2009
• Polls open 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Check ballot for voting district numbers and location
• Deadline to register to vote or change address:  
  October 13, 2009
• Absentee Ballot Application deadline:  November 2, 2009 
• 3:00 p.m. deadline for obtaining an absentee ballot application in person at the County Clerk's Office.
• Absentee Ballot in-person delivery deadline:  
  November 3, 2009 by close of polls
  
  Absentee Ballots

Rules have changed about who can apply for an absentee ballot.   

Anyone may apply for an Absentee Ballot.  Even if you are home, you may apply for an absentee ballot.  If you apply for an absentee ballot you must vote by absentee ballot; you cannot fill out an application and then decide to go to the polls on Election Day.
